Bill To Help First-Time Homebuyers Would Also Help Employers Attract, Retain Staff

HARTFORD, CT – The General Assembly's Banking Committee is considering a bill to allow first-time homebuyers to contribute to a tax-deductible savings account on their way to homeownership. Further, the bill – House Bill 5344 – will also allow employers to claim tax credits for making contributions to their employees' home ownership accounts.
